DDS, PG.Cert(Orth), MFD RCSI, MFDS RCPSG, DClinDent(Orth), MOrth RCSEd, FFD(Orth) RCSI, IMOrth RCSEng/RCPSG

Originally from Syria, I come from a dental family – my father is a maxillofacial surgeon, and my mother is a general dentist.

I qualified as a dentist in 2008 and practised for three years as a general dentist between hospital and private practice, during which I discovered my passion for orthodontics.

In 2010 I obtained a membership diploma (MFD) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). In the UK, I obtained a post-graduate certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick. In 2012, I moved to Ireland and joined a three-year full-time orthodontic post-graduate training at University College Cork Dental School and Hospital.

In 2015 I completed my orthodontic training and obtained membership in orthodontics diploma (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (RCSEd). In 2016, I was awarded my doctorate in clinical orthodontics (DClinDent) from University College Cork. In the same year, I obtained a fellowship in orthodontics diploma (FFD) from RCSI.

In 2017, I moved to Dublin and started practising as a full-time specialist orthodontist at Dublin Orthodontics. Soon after, I obtained an intercollegiate membership in orthodontics diploma (IMOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons in England (RCSEng) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow (RCSPG).

I can proudly say I am one of the very few orthodontists in Ireland to have obtained a membership in orthodontics diploma from all the Royal Colleges in Ireland, England and Scotland.

In 2020, I obtained a provisional membership in the European Board of Orthodontists and i am on my way to obtaining the full membership.

I live in Dublin with my beautiful fiancé Nikita, a retail manager, and Bella, the cutest and best dog in the world.

Besides orthodontic qualifications, I have been a national champion in natural bodybuilding for three consecutive years, from 2014-2016.

My hobbies include reading, listening to non-fiction and self-development books, hiking, and road trips.

I believe that a healthy mind breeds a healthy body and vice versa. I regularly work out early in the morning and meditate. I find this very energising and help maintain focus throughout the day while serving my patients and delivering world-class orthodontics.

The best part of my job is that I wake up daily to do something I love. I feel fortunate to be able to change people’s lives by transforming their smiles and boosting confidence and self-esteem.
